Leikny Haga Indergaard

What is behind the major transformation of Bergen Public Library into an open cultural house with queues to enter? How has the library been following the Act 21 statement from 2013 that they will ´create an independent meeting place and arena for public dialogue and debate´?  How do they achieve the relevance for youth and immigrants? 

Leikny Haaga Indergaard is the director of Bergen Public Library. She is an active member of dissemination projects for both children and adults as well as in international library work. Leikny Haaga Indergaard has previously worked as the Library and Cultural director in Stavanger, she was the Rogaland County Librarian manager and the director of ABM Development - The State center for Archives, Libraries and Museums.
